Hey everyone,

there are a few new rules for you — here they are.

Do you want to move from Casual to the Competitive Team?

We’re really happy that you want to join our Competitive Team – but it simply won’t work without a few rules. Please read through the following points carefully and think about whether you’re comfortable with them before joining the team.
Our team leaders put a lot of time and effort into team building. It’s extremely frustrating to hear something like “Nah, I’m not really into that anymore” after 4–5 weeks – so: accept the rules or please don’t join the team.

Conditions for Team Players

  • Recruitment starts with you as a Trainee in the Academy team.
  • The Trainee phase usually lasts about 6 weeks; after that, you’ll be assigned to a final team.
  • During the Trainee status, team leaders can switch you between teams at any time if it makes sense for balancing or your personal development.
  • At the latest 8 weeks after joining as a Trainee, you must apply to join the Finexes Community and be accepted.
  • Regular attendance at training is expected – including shared trainings and team‑internal sessions.
  • You must be ready to switch teams briefly during internal trainings for sensible balancing.
  • Registration on SpielerPlus and consistent use of the sign‑up / sign‑out function are mandatory so we can plan reliably.
  • Your Battletag must show the “FXS‑” prefix in official Cup, League and Scrim matches at the latest 3 months after joining the team.
  • Team assignments are decided by the team leaders. This is discussed in a joint team leader meeting, so it can sometimes take a while – please be patient.
  • You can always express your wishes, but there is no guarantee for a specific team assignment.

Behavior and Conduct

We expect respectful behavior at all times toward teammates, opponents, and staff. We know that not everything will always run perfectly, but nothing justifies:

  • Rage‑quits (disconnecting from the game or server),
  • Insults,
  • Toxic behavior in voice or chat.
If such incidents occur, your fixed spot in the team can be taken away very quickly. We write this because we have experienced that when just one person blows up, it massively ruins the fun for everyone else. Please keep calm and discuss criticism, frustration, or problems after the match, in a relaxed way. You’re not playing alone – your behavior affects the whole team. You’re basically ruining the whole evening for the others!

Game Mode and Development

We currently play 5vs5. If the game itself evolves (for example, if 8vs8 becomes the standard), we will adjust and further develop our structures accordingly.

Twitch Streaming

We know that some of you like to stream. However, streaming comes with some disadvantages: we could leak tactics and others might study our playstyle, which we obviously can’t do ourselves.
If you do stream, everyone else must agree first. Especially during Scrims, your Discord voice chat must not be broadcast, and your in‑game calls or strategies must not be shown. It’s not about streaming itself – it’s mainly about not revealing your tactics.

Substitute Players / Occasional Gamers

Are you more Casual but still like to help out from time to time?
Then you are still very welcome to participate in internal trainings.

We would appreciate it if you:

  • joined the community, and
  • used the FXS‑prefix on your Battletag in‑game.
However, this is voluntary for Casual players, just like the registration on SpielerPlus. If you do choose to register on SpielerPlus, that’s great – but please don’t be disappointed if, when there’s a lot of good players, someone else is sometimes preferred.
